Description

Participants co-create an anthology of short stories, folktales, or recipes in their native languages, optionally with translations.
The workshop fosters cultural exchange, writing skills, and identity expression through storytelling.

Objectives

Participants will:
• Practice their native language through storytelling
• Connect with people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Share and celebrate multicultural identities

Prerequisites for the audience

• Ability to read and write in ones’ native language (desired).
• Understand the language used by the facilitator (or provide translation assistance).

Equipment

• Pens, colouring pencils, paper, and/or notebooks for writing
• (Optional) Computers for participants to write their stories
• Bookbinding materials (cardstock, plastic or laminated covers, binding tape, glue, etc.)

Content used

• Examples of folktales, travel stories, or recipes from different cultures
• Optional: Access to an online platform for digital publishing
