Description

In this activity, learners will come up with a strategy on how to work with and get support from men in the family, community and all other places where men discriminate against women and prevent them from becoming leaders

Objectives

— At the end of this session, participants will have identified possible threats to their leadership potential from male community members and male service providers.
— They will have analyzed the reasons for these threats and listed the positive supports they have received from male family members, community members and service providers.
— They will have identified a range of strategies for actively engaging the men they live and work with to support them in their leadership work and in their struggle for women’s rights.
