Description

Participants use a “passport” to accompany their reading experience.
The passport has a section with different genres (for stamps) as well as four mini-book reviews and a list of ten additional books. Through this activity, children will explore various genres and collect stamps.

Objectives

• Cultivate an interest in reading and discover different genres and books.
• Practice reviewing books and writing their thoughts down.
• Learn how to navigate the library to find different books and genres.

Prerequisites for the audience

• Basic fluency in the language spoken by the facilitator or translation where available.

Equipment

• Required: Multicoloured Stamps
• Colouring pencils, pens, etc.
• Printing paper (for passport templates)
